Newest project from SuGar Yoshinaga & Yumiko Ohno, longtime and also current members of Buffalo Daughter (2 Buffalo Daughters, if you will).  I decided to show this some love because I hadn't heard of this project, and also because Buffalo Daughter has a new album coming soon (first single "Harm No More" down below), their first full length since 2021's amazing 'We Are The Times' (which can be heard *here, separately from their main page for some reason).  Buffalo Daughter has tour dates lined up in November, so I'm assuming the TBA album release/title will be around that timeframe.  

Discovering this project was a tad bittersweet, as longtime third member/co-founder of Buffalo Daughter moOog Yamamoto appears to be absent from the band (based on their Bandcamp group photo), and while still listed as a member of the band, he isn't credited on the first released single; I'm hoping the longtime vocalist/turntablist/visual artist will hopefully still be featured on the release in some capacity (not much available online to indicate whether he is or isn't).

As for 2BD, they've currently released 4 tracks total, a 2-song EP ('New Bud In The Mud') and 2 singles afterwards ("Fractal (Winter Song)" followed by "Fire Horse").  Looking forward to more output from the duo as well as the upcoming Buffalo Daughter release.
